OUR VISION

Gail Hyman

Director

MY VISION

I have wanted to set up a ‘talking therapy’ from the age of 13 years old, triggered by a love for the great outdoors and my own childhood trauma and school phobia. Since then with my therapy goal in mind I worked hard for many years with the promise to myself that one day I would be in a position to help others. After many years, thirty in fact, an amazing career in education, commitment and drive to study, gaining the necessary qualifications, as well as support from my family, I am now here offering my counselling service.

Having experienced first-hand what nature has to offer through both learning and teaching Forest School outdoors. I personally felt and witnessed in others the benefits and impact the woodland and its openness had on our health and wellbeing. It was my mission to create an environment that was engaging and inspiring yet peaceful and calming. A place where you are free to explore and allow your mind to unwind from the difficulties you may be experiencing. An opportunity to shed some of the tensions built up within, whilst allowing nature to help heal you.
